Ryan Israel joined Butera & Andrews in June 2002. Ryan is a graduate of Pepperdine University's School of Law in Malibu, California where he was a Fellow and Founding Student Board Member of Pepperdine's Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Law and a member of the Moot Court Board.
 

Prior to that, Ryan spent several years working on Capitol Hill the last four of which were with Rep. Donald A. Manzullo's (R-IL) office as Legislative Assistant handling banking and financial services, health care, transportation and energy issues.  Before graduating with honors from George Washington University's Columbian College of Arts and Sciences in 1995, Ryan spent much of his time in Washington maintaining his Illinois roots by interning with then-Congressman Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) and former Rep. John Edward Porter (R-IL). He was also a Michael J. Curry intern in the administration of former Gov. Jim Edgar (R-IL). Ryan is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of California and the District of Columbia.
